A shy and quiet child with a humongous imagination. I never was the one that would shout out my ideas but would solemnly write them down as best as I could. Short poems grew into incredible stories of everyday life. As I changed, my experiences, dreams and outlooks also changed with me.
Now, I vision numerous ways of telling enlightened, courageous and dark tales. The beauty of storytelling is that it comes from a place of spiritual guidance and protection. To let us know that we're all humans on this journey called life. I'm humble and blessed to have been given this gift from my ancestors on both sides of my family. Thank you, grandmothers, Larua Dunson-Arnold and Minnie Johnson-Metcalfe.
My style is now changing from contemporary realistic fiction to an array of different genres. I love to keep the readers engaged and guessing. That's life. We don't know what's happening day to day, but we always wish for the best.
My life as my stories will adjust and change, but the main focus is to make all my characters relatable as possible. Regardless, if they are good or bad. A little lives in all of us, if we like it or not.
Overall, my goal is to make sure that when the reader closes the book, it makes them feel something. If so, I did my job.
